Create impact and cost savings through integration
We worked with House of Fraser, one of Britain’s best-loved designer department stores, for over 12 years. In that time, we created countless campaigns to engage its dedicated following of discerning fashionistas and families across direct mail, digital direct response and e-commerce.
As the lead below-the-line agency, our job was to act as an extension of the brand’s marketing department, creating customer-driven communications that encompassed direct marketing, campaign marketing, store launch programmes, B2B incentives and email marketing.
In a nutshell
As the hub agency for House of Fraser, we created cost savings through effective coordination of marketing, and drove measurable results through a series of creative campaigns.
We also pioneered House of Fraser’s Home Directory, using our design and photographic expertise to create a bold, striking identity and editorial voice to bring the high street into the home. This extended to a long-running DM campaign for seasonal sales, which recorded impressive results against a backdrop of tough retail conditions.
Of course, the most valuable thing we brought to House of Fraser’s operations was integration. Our commercial insights and knowledge of industry trends helped us unify House of Fraser’s departments and suppliers, eliminated duplication of effort, reduced print costs, created cost efficiencies, and maximised their collective strengths.
